Awesome stop, but of course comes with a bit of a smell. But don't worry, as the walking and biking trails along the river and bridges make up for it. Pretty place, adorable fun park for the littlest. Great fun for a 30 minute sight see stop.

So this was very cool to see, next to super cute path through town, lots of bikes so watch out. The smell....is the most noxious smell I've ever smelt. Almost stings the nose and LINGERS. Also floats on the breeze so it may catch you off guard. I got nauseous after a while. But again, really neat to SEE these springs! Cute park for the kiddos right there....as long as the wind doesn't shift lol.

🌋 SULPHUR SPRING – Top Benefits 🧼 1. Detoxification (skin, liver, blood) • Sulphur helps bind toxins, supporting liver phase II detox. • Clears skin impurities and promotes healing from acne, eczema, and psoriasis. • Can act as a natural antimicrobial, fighting some bacteria, fungi, and parasites topically. 💪 2. Anti-inflammatory effect • Especially beneficial for joint pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or any inflammatory condition. • Used in European balneotherapy for rheumatic and autoimmune disorders. 🌬️ 3. Respiratory support • Inhalation of trace sulphur gases can help clear mucus, open sinuses, and ease mild asthma symptoms. • Some spas offer controlled sulphur steam for this very reason. 🧠 4. Energetic/emotional purification • In energy work, sulphur is associated with removing heavy emotions, ancestral patterns, and inner “toxicity”. • It’s often called the alchemist’s purifier. ⸻ ⚠️ Potential Cons / Precautions ❌ 1. Strong odor and vapors • The classic “rotten egg” smell comes from hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) — harmless in trace outdoor amounts, but: • Can cause headaches, nausea, dizziness in sensitive people. • Should never be inhaled in closed or poorly ventilated spaces. ❌ 2. Skin irritation or reaction • Sulphur can be drying or irritating, especially if your skin is: • Very sensitive, sunburned, or open wounds present • You’re on retinoids or certain medications ❌ 3. Interference with medications • DO NOT DRINK sulphur spring water while on ciprofloxacino. • It may interfere with absorption. • Combined detox and antibiotic can overload the liver. • Use topically only during your antibiotic cycle. ❌ 4. Electrolyte imbalance if overused • Soaking for too long or too frequently (especially in hot sulphur water) can dehydrate you or flush out electrolytes. ⸻ 💡 Safe Use Guidelines for Sulphur Springs Practice Safe Duration Tip 🦶 Foot or hand soak 10–20 min Ideal if you’re cautious with full-body immersion 🛁 Full-body soak (if allowed) 10–15 min Drink water before & after 🌬️ Inhale light vapors 5–10 min Only if outdoors and not triggering nausea 🧴 Skin contact (splashing face, arms) 5 min Rinse after if sensitive 🚱 Drinking the water ❌ No Never while on antibiotics or without local testing info ⸻ ✨ Energetic Ritual with Sulphur (If Not Soaking) Even standing near the spring or touching the stones: • Visualize heavy emotions dissolving in the sulfur steam. • Use this affirmation: “I release what is not mine. I purify my body and my lineage. I welcome clarity.” ⸻

Part of several springs in the immediate area. This one was bubbling the most; all smelled like sulfur of course (see close by aptly named Little Toots Park).
